Thank- you for your visit. Our one desire is to give you hope - a hope that refreshes and restores confidence about your financial future. Restoring hope takes time and does not happen overnight. However, we believe with a well thought out game plan based upon sound risk management strategies it can be accomplished. With this in mind we invite you to sit back, relax and read on about a dynamic approach to restoring financial hope.

Restoring Hope Through Strategic Risk Management

The key to a robust financial plan is to accumulate the capital or money necessary to see your goals through to the end. Therefore, we believe risk management is the foundation of your financial plan. The question then becomes what risk management system to use in order to have the greatest odds of supporting your financial goals?

The conventional wisdom of risk management is “modern portfolio theory” (MPT) formulated by Harry Markowitz in “Portfolio Selection” in The Journal of Finance March 1952. Please keep in mind that MPT is a theory and not a irrefutable law. Stated simply MPT says investors can minimize market risk for an expected level return by properly diversifying their assets (asset allocation). In other words, “buy-and-hold for the long-term” and “don’t put all your eggs in one basket”. We believe in this theory. However, we, also, believe that relying on Modern Portfolio Theory alone may not work for you. It may foster a false sense of security.

How did your portfolio do during the devastating markets of 1997, 2001, 2008, and 2020? Hopefully it taught this one thing - the buy and hold investment strategy may not be working as hoped. If this is you, we invite you to find out more about how we manage risk in the FAQ section of this website.
